Shroom Jam 2025 Submission

John Action and the Action Platoon is a short game parodying saturday morning cartoons, the popular action movies of the 80's and inspired by games such as Shatterhand, Power Blade, Contra and Metal Slug, including some intentional jank to keep the retro feel.

Arrow Keys to move, Z and X to jump and shoot. Controller support was tested in the X-Box controller.

Turn the option on main or pause menu to enable the CRT filter
